China has a Cure?

I know right out of all the places in the world to have a cure for VGA it is China, a country where breathing urban air is as bad for you as smoking cigarettes.

Apparently yang yongxin (杨永信) has found a solution to what I have been trying to figure out.

Say hello toXingnaojing therapy aka shock therapy for internet addicts.Used to invoke Aversion therapy in patients, a shock is sent through a patients brain to cause the stimulation of pain without actually causing any harm to the patient. The shocks are put through the patients brain whenever they perform a bad behavior. Over time the brain will automatically associate the behavior with the pain and thus causing an end to the addiction right?

Well that would work if Aversion therapy was consistent in the first place. While initially it will be effective, as soon as the person leaves the hospital and realizes that they can do as they please without the risk of shocks they are likely to return to their old habits so it looks like this is going to be another one of China’s growing social problems.
